Youtube is really influencing my life right now, between Adele and Drake I have so many feelings. So much cause for drunken dancing and singing that requires using my hands in the car. Basically I have so much on my plate right now that you should be really impressed that I had time to come up with something new in the kitchen.
I was still feeling inspired from the truly exquisite pairing of sweet potato and oregano from my last post.
I’ve been craving perogies for a while so I thought I would make some with a sweet potato and oregano filling. It was actually much easier than I thought, sometimes making something from scratch that involves dough can be tricky but I found this pretty simple.
It probably took me an hour to cook the filling, prepare the dough, and prepare the perogies before frying them. I also found the key to getting them just like the restaurant ones is lots of oil in the frying pan!
These really hit the spot, I was the most enthusiastic at the dinner table but it was probably because I haven’t been able to eat perogies in years. Man o man are they delicious!
